The response to the earthquake in Port-au-Prince in 2010 showed to the eyes of the international humanitarian system new forms of action. Using information technology, those affected locally as well as global initiatives made by communities of volunteers working for humanitarian objectives successfully implement innovative forms of collaboration and new services. A report came back on these innovations and focused recommendations for a meeting and a better synergy between these new forms of aid and the existing system: the "Disaster Report 2.0".http://www.unfoundation.org/disaster-report.
