Scolaires au Salon des solidarites

One of the missions of the Salon Des Solidarités is to educate children in a fun way to many themes of solidarity. Cultural activities will entertain all the family members, especially the little ones. Adolescents and young adults will have the opportunity to meet and learn directly from representatives of NGOs and organizations, national and international institutions, business leaders...

The teaching guide for school public

Following the new logic of organization, team Salon Solidarity calls for teachers to choose among the activities offered, those that are best suited for classes of kindergartens, schools, colleges and high schools. The suggestions made by teachers have contributed to the development of a document presenting the course aimed at schools.

The Schoolarship career

The Solidarity Fair team offers a "School Course" in several steps Friday, June 4, 2010 from 15h.

Students are then divided into groups of 10. They will spend on each step proposed in order to discover different aspects of international solidarity. Each group will be guided by a staff person (in addition to the guide of the institution).

1. MDG Village (40 minutes)

Composed of eight stands each symbolizing one of the MDGs(Millennium Development), of short animations will discover what these eight MDGs and how to reach them.

2. Web Space and Web Platform (20 minutes)

Newspapers teams will publish in live in the Fair jornal.Their work will be projected on a screen to enable young people to see and understand the creation of a newspaper. Discovery of Solidarity with access to the Internet, linked sites and video games dealing with these issues.

3. Documentation Area (20 minutes)

Books, magazines and cards sector and geographic international solidarity available on site, with the support of industry professionals.

4. Exhibitors' stands discovering (30-40 minutes)

Young people have the opportunity to meet and learn directly from representatives of NGOs and associations, national and international institutions, business leaders ...

5. Handicap Course Animation (30-40 minutes)

How do you feel taking a seat that awaits you and try to use a wheelchair? Once past the next "fun", you are now embarked on a small circuit: opening doors, hallway, walk to climb,... the difficulties are not lacking, it is discovered quickly.
